On Tap at Dogfish Head, January 2002
Dogfish Heads microbrewery in Lewes, Delaware consistently produces some of the most interesting and delicious beer selections in our cooler. We also recommend their brewpub in Rehoboth Beach if youre traveling in that direction.
Back to the beer cooler, we carry Dogfish Heads Shelter Pale Ale (strong malt backbone and a slightly nutty flavor), Indian Brown Ale (a cross between a Scotch Ale, an IPA and an American Pale) and Raison DEtre (a deep mahogany ale brewed with beet sugar, green raisins and Belgian yeast) throughout the year.
Four of their seasonal brews generating wide notoriety and rave reviews:
Midas Touch Golden Elixir is a beverage based on the residue found on the drinking vessels in King Midas' tomb, highlighting the known ingredients of barley, white Muscat grapes, honey and saffron.
- Immort Ale (11% ABV) is brewed with organic juniper berry, vanilla, and pure Massachusetts maple syrup.
- World Wide Stout -- Brewed with a ridiculous amount of barley, vim & vigor, and an 18% alcohol by volume, this may be the worlds strongest brew. Absolutely delicious.
- 90 Minute IPA -- Additional hops are continuously added for 90 minutes, delighting our hardest core Hop Heads!
